2nd Annual Pink Pancake Breastfast, Solana Beach
Our 2nd Annual Pink Pancake Breastfast proved to be another great success despite the rain we raised over $3800. Thank you to our favorite locally famous kids band HULLABALOO. The kiddies also enjoyed a fresh start to their morning with YOGA provided by Next Generation Yoga- Thank you! And a HUGE thank you to the Solana Beach Fire Department for cooking our pancakes and sharing their community spirit with us. Thank you to all of our raffle prize donors. Because of our donor support, our events happen and we are able to RAISE Money for a CURE! We especially need to THANK Carlsbad Brownie Troop #1318. These girls sold almost 2,000 boxes of cookies this year and decided to donate $300 of their earning to BOTM. You girls hold our future in your hands. We got the Buzz about Breast Cancer from Around the World and a little more! We never like bad press and certainly not when it comes to RAISING MONEY for a good cause. The good news, our evening of wine and spirits, an amazing silent auction and raffle prizes turned out Really GREAT and SUPER FUN! But, according to the owner, we lost the majority of our proceeds because the owner claimes we consumed WAY more than the discussed servings for the evening. We were misled and clearly taken advantage of by North County Wine Company. We do not recommend doing business with North County Wine Company.

The latest whole body workout using a kettlebell. What is a Kettlebell? It's like a cannonball with a purse strap and range in size and weight. The Kettlebell's design requires you to use your entire body { arms, legs and core } to raise the bell in different forms of lift. Well, we did it and it was FUN! Washer Tournament for a Cure!
Washers, it's a funny little game consisting of 2 or more players playing with 2 or more little boxes. Inside the boxes are one PVC cup of about 4 inches in diameter and some sand. Each player stands at each box with 5 washers to throw one at a time. The goal is to land the washers inside the opponent's washer box. A Super FUN game the whole family enjoys. We all had a great time relaxing on the lawn { drinking cold beverages } and watching the players toss for the win! Thank you to our sponsors for making this event happen. We RAISED over $1200.
